The Pack Horse is a family run pub, set in the countryside of Oxfordshire at the top of a hill looking down over the green farmland of the countryside. It dates back over 250 years as a purpose built inn. It serves numerous real ales and was awarded the best Greeneking pub of the year 2003. It welcomes and encourages the whole family to come along and the family dog is always welcome and being near to tracked walks this really is a good destination to stop for a drink and a bite to eat! Just for the kids, in the beer garden there is a mini petting zoo with goats and Esmerellda the friendly chicken! Specialising in Italian food and wines, we serve both restaurant and pub style food from pasta and steaks to bangers and mash, all home made and freshly prepared. Food is served: Monday - Saturday 12.00pm - 2.30pm and 6.00pm - 9.30pm
On Sunday, food is served from 12pm-8pm for traditional Sunday roasts with three different meats always available.
